DESCRIPTION:
CALCIUM CHLORIDE is a Grey-white color powder or flakes,
soluble in water up to 42% CaCl2
w/w at 20°C brine density = 11.6 ppg (SG.1.39).
APPLICATIONS:
CALCIUM CHLORIDE is used as a soluble weighting agent
and as a source of Calcium in Calcium inhibitive mud. In invert
emulsion muds it is used to adjust the activity of the water phase.
