DESCRIPTION:
EMEC BUF is white powder (Mg0) which has a pH of 10.
APPLICATION:
EMEC BUF is a buffering agent used to control pH ranges
in mud system up to 10, and as Mg++ source EMEC BUF is more suitable
than Caustic Soda for controlling pH in polymer systems, work over,
and completion fluids.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
EMEC BUF is much safer to be used than Caustic Soda; it
can be added directly to the mud system through the mud hopper rather
than chemical barrel. EMEC BUF does not increase the pH of mud system
to levels which can burn-up polymeric viscosifiers. The recommended
treatment of EMEC BUF is ranging between 0.3 - 0.5 lbs per barrel.
PACKAGING:
EMEC BUF is packaged in 25 kg multi paper bags.
