DESCRIPTION:
EMEC CMC is a technical grade carboxymethyl cellulose
that is produced in 2 grades, low viscosity meeting OCMA specifications
DFCP-2, and high viscosity meeting DFCP-7.
APPLICATION:
EMEC CMC is used as a fluid loss reducer and suspending
agent. It is recommended to use CMC in drilling fluid contain less
than 35000 mg/l chlorides EMEC CMC is stable up to 280°F.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
EMEC CMC is not subject to bacterial degradation and can
be used at any pH value. The optimum concentration to control fluid
loss is 1-2 ppb. EMEC CMC should be mixed in mud system slowly to
avoid any balling or fish eyes.
PACKAGING:
EMEC CMC (in both grades) is packaged in 25 kg multi wallpaper
bags.
HAZARD:
EMEC CMC is non-toxic product; no special care is required
while mixing.
