DESCRIPTION:
EMEC SURF. Is a selected blend of surface-active agent
for the use in any type of water base drilling fluids.
APPLICATION:
EMEC SURF. Is designed to improve the flow properties
of water base mud up to very high bottom hole temperature. EMEC
SURF. Application in all drilling environments is equally effective
regardless of the salinity of the drilling fluid. It is also recommended
to be used in the mud while drilling into plastic shale formation
to eliminate the bit balling.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
The concept behind improving the flow properties of the
fluid is, that EMEC SURF. Is adsorbed on the surface of clays, and
acts as a barrier, which reduces interaction forces between clay
particles. This reduces gel strength and yield point. The recommended
treatment of EMEC SURF. Is ranging from 20-80 gallons per 100 barrels
of drilling fluid.
PACKAGING:
EMEC SURF. is supplied in 55 gal steel /drum.
HAZARDS:
EMEC SURF. Is not corrosive to equipment, precautions
should be taken while handling and usage.
