DESCRIPTION:
EMEC TEX is modified Asphalt, gilsonite, and lignite used
in water base mud systems. It is dark brown powder. It is not water
dispersible.
APPLICATION:
EMEC TEX is mixed in mud systems to control shale from
sloughing. HME "ENERGIZER" is required when mixing EMEC
TEX in water base muds.
Approx. 1-3 gal Energizer/100 lbs of EMEC TEX (depending on its
conc. & mud type).
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
EMEC TEX is mainly used to inhibit shale formation with
concentrations of 4-6 lb/bbl. It must be mixed with HME and not
through mixing hopper.
PACKAGING:
EMEC TEX is packaged in 25 kg per multi wallpaper bags.
HAZARD:
EMEC TEX is non toxic.
