DESCRIPTION:
EMEC WATE is a high weighting material having a specific gravity
of 5.1 EMEC WATE is a dark free flowing powder. It can be used as
weighting materials in all water base and oil base muds. Meets oil
companies materials association OCMA and API specification for particle
size specifications.
APPLICATION:
EMEC WATE is used primarily for obtaining extremely high mud weight
at low viscosity. The chemically inert material has a good wettability
in oil and water. EMEC WATE increases mud density up to 25 lbs/Gal.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
EMEC WATE can be substituted for barite in any mud system
to control formation pressure. It should be added to the drilling
fluid system through the jet hopper. As the specific gravity of
EMEC WATE is 5.1 (21% greater than standard API barite) therefore,
less quantity of EMEC WATE will be required to achieve the same
mud weight resulting in less solids contributed in mud system.
PACKAGING:
EMEC WATE is packaged in multi wallpaper bags containing
50 kg per bag.
HAZARD:
EMEC WATE is non-toxic material; no special care is required
when raising density of mud.
