DESCRIPTION:
EMELOY is a pregelatinized potato starch that meets OCMA
specification DFCP-5 for starch. It is dispersible and suitable
product for preparing drilling fluids with low fluid loss.
APPLICATION:
EMELOY is used to reduce fluid loss in all types of water
base drilling fluids. It is recommended that EMELOY to be used in
drilling fluids that are not exposed to temperature higher Than
250°F.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
EMELOY is subject to bacterial degradation. Accordingly
preservative must be used in combination with EMELOY to prevent
bacterial activity. When EMELOY is used to control fluid loss, the
recommended dosage ranges between 4-6 ppb. Concentration can be
increased up to 8 ppb when viscosity is required (Depending on mud
type).
PACKAGING:
EMELOY is packaged in 25-kg multi wallpaper bags.
HAZARD:
EMELOY is non-toxic product; no special care is required
while mixing.
