DESCRIPTION:
EMELOY (N.F) is a non- - fermenting pregelatinzed potato
starch that meets OCMA specification DFCP-5 for starch. It is dispersible
and suitable product for preparing drilling fluids with low fluid
loss.
APPLICATION:
EMELOY (N.F) is used to reduce fluid loss in all types
of water base drilling fluids. It is recommend to be used in drilling
fluids that are not exposed to temperature higher than 250°F.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
EMELOY (N.F) is modified starch; it features excellent
non-fermentation and temperature stability properties. When EMELOY
(N.F) is used to control fluid loss, the recommended dosage ranges
between 4-6 lb/bbl. Concentration can be increased up to 8 lb/bbl
when viscosity is required (Depending on mud type).
PACKAGING:
EMELOY (N.F) is packaged in 25-kg multi wallpaper bags.
HAZARD:
EMELOY (N.F) is slightly toxic product; precaution should
be taken while handling.
