DESCRIPTION :
HSS-L is a liquid Zinc Carbonate solution. The product
is soluble in brine and water base fluids.
APPLICATION :
HSS-L is specifically designed to Scavenger Hydrogen Sulfite
in water base drilling fluids. HSS-L may dispose mud solids, but
will not affect the rheology of the drilling fluid.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION :
Drilling fluid should be treated with HSS-L prior entry
suspected formation-containing H2S.
Normal treatment is 55 gallons of product per thousands barrels
of drilling fluid. Initial treatment with scavenger up to 30-50
ppm of soluble sulfite in drilling fluid. Additional treatment will
be required as the hydrogen sulfite increased in volume.
PACKAGING:
HSS-L is available supplied in 55 gal/steel drums.
HAZARD :
HSS-L is a toxic material; precautions should be taken
while handling, and usage.
