DESCRIPTION:
HT POLYMER is a modified lignin polymer effectively reduces
fluid loss at high temperature up to 400°F in all types of water
base mud systems.
APPLICATION:
HT POLYMER is designed to provide low fluid loss of water
base mud at high temperature. It can be used to control fluid loss
in fresh water, salt water, saturated salt water, and dispersed
mud when bottom hole temperature exceeds 400 oF.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
HT POLYMER is an anionic polymer capable of controlling
fluid loss at high temperature even if mud is contaminated with
calcium. HT POLYMER fluid control agent works in any pH value. It
does not require an addition of caustic soda for maximum solubility.
The recommended concentration of HT POLYMER dosage is 2-3 lb./bbl
of mud. However, concentration might be increased, depending upon
mud type, drilling conditions, and desired performance.
PACKAGING:
HT POLYMER is packaged in 25-kg multi wallpaper bag.
HAZARDS:
HT POLYMER may be harmful or irritating if inhaled. A
dust mask should be worn while mixing.
