DESCRIPTION:
K.LIGNITE is brown to black free flowing powder form.
The finished product is readily soluble in low pH muds and is essentially
sodium-free.
APPLICATION:
K-LIGNITE inhibits clay swelling and especially useful
in water base muds which utilize potassium or other compounds to
inhibit clay activity in the drilling fluid or formation drilled.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
K-LIGNITE is a product which function as a deffloculant
and filtration control agent in water base muds. The use of K-LIGNITE
in the mud will provide the following:
- Rheological control in potassium-based drilling and completion
fluids.
- Reducing high pressure/high temperature filtration and creating
their tough filter cakes in
Potassium based drilling and completion fluids.
- Stable at high temperature up to 400°F.
- Emulsifying oil in water at high bottom hole temperatures.
Recommended treatment is generally between 2-5 lbs/bbl. Higher
doses maybe used in high-temperature applications.

K-LIGNITE is packaged in 25 kg multilayer bag.

K-LIGNITE is non-toxic product no special care is required
