DESCRIPTION:
PERM-VIS is a while powder viscosity modifier blended
with stabilizers. The product is soluble in hydrochloride acid (HCL).
APPLICATION:
PERM-VIS is primarily used to increase viscosity and carrying
capacity of brine base fluid system. It is effective in all type
of common oil field brine uch as, seawater, Sodium Chloride, Calcium
Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Bromide, Sodium Formate and
Potassium Formate.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
The viscosity produced from PERM-VIS will vary slightly
depending on the salinity of the brine. Add PERM-VIS through a mixing
hopper at the rate of 5 minutes/sax. It is essential to avoid adding
the product too fast, otherwise fish eyes will be formed and pass
over the Shaker Screen resulting in loss of materials. Good dispersion
of the product is important to achieve good results from PERM-VIS.
Prior mixing PERM-VIS in brine, addition of PERM DEFOAMER should
be added at dose of 5 gal/100 bbls of brine. The usage of PERM DEFOAMER
will control surface foaming and provide better wettability and
dispersion for easy mixing.
PACKAGING:
PERM-VIS comes in liquid powder form.
PERM-VIS powder is packaged in 50 #/sack.
PERM-VIS liquid is supplied in 5 gal can.
HAZARDS:
PERM-VIS is a non toxic product, no special care is required
while mixing.
