DESCRIPTION:
POLY BEADS are spherical polymer beads designed to physically
reduce friction in drilling, completion and workover fluids.
APPLICATION:
POLY BEADS are distinctively effective in reducing torque,
drag and differential sticking in water and oil base muds drilling
fluids.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
POLY BEADS are inert solids that provide a physical method
of reducing problems caused by friction in drilling operations,
it can be used with most liquid lubricants and spotting fluids.
- Upon initial treatment, POLY BEADS should be added at a concentration
of 6 - 8 lbs./bbl.
- Maintenance treatments normally consist of 200 - 400 lbs. per
each 10 hours of drilling time.
- Batch treatment of 200 - 400 lbs of POLY BEADS per 30 bbls of
mud in the slugging tank, is specially effective for preventing
light tool stuck (wire logging).
PACKAGING:
POLY BEADS is packaged in multi wallpaper bags containing
50 lb per sack.
HAZARDS:
POLY BEADS is non-toxic, no special care is required when
raising density.
