DESCRIPTION:
POLYTREX is an organic polymer that provides maximum reduction
in fluid loss. It is dry, free-flowing powder.
APPLICATION:
POLYTREX is primarily used to lower fluid loss in all
types of Water-Base drilling fluids. It is stable up to 270°F
Secondary it is an excellent shale-control polymer.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
POLYTREX is stable against bacterial degradation. The
optimum treatment for POLYTREX ranges between 3-6 ppb depending
on encapsulating capacity desired. It is recommended that POLYTREX
be used in low solids drilling fluid as it has a tendency to reduce
fluid loss without the addition of clay. The product is also 98%
acid soluble.
PACKAGING:
POLYTREX is packaged in 25-kg multi wallpaper bags.
HAZARD:
POLYTREX is non-toxic product; no special care is required
while mixing.
