DESCRIPTION:
SAFE H-SCAV. Is an organic nitrogen compounds in aqueous
solution which reacts with H2S in
the aqueous phase to form water soluble harmless compound .
APPLICATION:
SAFE H-SCAV. Is effective above a pH of 8, and for rapid
reaction rate, activation with Caustic Soda is necessary, also high
temperature increases the rate of reaction with H2S.
EMEC FRIENDLY H2S SCAV. should be
added to the mud system before encountering H2S.
The product is suitable for both oil and water base muds .
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
11 PPM SAFE H-SCAV. Reacts with 1 PPM H2S
. For a system containing 25 PPM H2S
a dosage of 275 PPM SAFE H-SCAV. Is required. This is equivalent
to 9.5 gallons per 1000 bbls of mud treated.
PACKAGING:
SAFE H-SCAV. Is supplied
in 55 gals/drum.
