DESCRIPTION:
SAFE SPOT is a blend of naturally accruing greases and
surface active agents designed to release the drill pipe that has
stuck due to differential pressure problems.
APPLICATION:
SAFE SPOT is designed to act upon the filter cake, destroying
its gel structure, and allowing the pipe to pull free. The additional
lubricant in SAFE SPOT will assist further drilling by reducing
the torque and imparting slackness.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
The volume of soak solution required is the annular volume
of stuck pipe zone plus 50 percent for error and hole washout. SAFE
SPOT soak solution is used in any oil with concentration of 4 GAL/BBL
of oil, it should be spotted to cover the stuck zone and allowing
sufficient time for the pill to work, on the same time work on pipe.
PACKAGING:
SAFE SPOT is supplied in 55 gal/drum.
