DESCRIPTION:
WATER GEL is finely ground, premium - grade sodium montmorillonite
clay that confirms to API spec. 13A.
APPLICATION:
WATER GEL is an effective viscosifier and water loss control agent
for water muds. In concentration of approximately 22.5 lb/barrel
(6.43 g/100 ml) the API filtrate can be reduce to 12 ml and below.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
WATER GEL is a uniform high-quality product, which carries American
Petroleum Institute spec. WATER GEL recommended to be added to the
mud system to economically build up viscosity, gel strength and
reduce API fluid loss. In salty waters (Chlorides > 10 K mg/L)
WATER GEL is first prehydrated in fresh water and then added to
the salty water.
PACKAGING:
WATER GEL is packaged in 50 kg multi wallpaper bags.
HAZARDS:
WATER GEL is non-toxic compound; no special care is required while
mixing.
